Description of the exercises.

Binocular version
  • Sit comfortably on a chair with a back support
  • Both feet are on the ground
  • Draw a vertical line on the index finger of your dominant hand (colors: blue or green)
  • Bring the target (vertical line) in your field of vision, as if you are looking straight ahead
  • Bring the target towards you, in line with your eyes
  • At the point where the line becomes double, back up just enough to make it one
  • At that point, create a clock wise circle where the dimensions are as follows:
  •    No wider than the sides of the face
  •    No higher than mid forehead
  •    No lower than the level of the eyes
  • Perform for 1 minute as you try to get the target closer to the root of your nose
Monocular version

  • Sit comfortably on a chair with a back support
  • Both feet are on the ground
  • Draw a vertical line on the index finger of both of your hands (colors: blue or green)
  • If working on the right eye, use the left hand to cover the eye
  • Bring the target (vertical line) on your right hand in your field of vision, as if you are looking straight ahead). Only the right eye is looking at the target
  • Bring the target towards you, in line with your right eye
  • As you get closer, create a clock wise circle where the dimensions are as follows:
  •    No wider than the sides of the face
  •    No higher than mid forehead
  •    No lower than the level of the eyes
  • Perform for 1 minute as you try to get the target closer to the root of your nose
  • Perform the exercise for the left eye by using the left hand thereafter
  •  

At the end of either version, look out a window, far in the distance, for 10-15 seconds in order to avoid tension in the eye musculature
